Soan: Rooted in Tradition, Made for Tender Self-Care

At Soan, self-care is more than a routine—it’s a quiet ritual inspired by Korean heritage and handcrafted in small batches in Vancouver, Canada. Each bar of soap, candle, and bath product is thoughtfully made to reflect healing, simplicity, and the sensory comfort of home.

Our Story
We’re sisters, born in Korea and raised in Canada, where the scent of steamed mugwort, yuja tea, and sun-dried herbs shaped our earliest memories of wellness and warmth.

As Jenna has struggled with eczema and psoriasis from childhood to now, we searched for skincare that was truly gentle—formulated not with chemicals, but with nature.

We began creating products inspired by time-honored Korean herbal remedies, using ingredients like rice bran, mung bean, mugwort, and infused botanical oils. Our goal was simple: to make skincare that’s safe, nourishing, and soothing for sensitive skin—starting with the kinds of formulas we needed ourselves.

This journey became Soan—a word that means “simple and beautiful” in pure Korean, and the essence of everything we create.
